Miley Cyrus made headlines this past August for her racy and raunchy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, but last night she revisited a past look by a certain rap diva that turned heads at the exact same show several years ago.
Cyrus wore the infamous purple mermaid costume donned by her good friend Lil’ Kim from the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. Fans will remember Kim was the highlight of the night in the outfit which showcased her left boob covered by a seashell pasty and made headlines for weeks. During the appearance she was escorted on stage by grand diva Diana Ross, who jiggled Kim’s booby on stage.
Miley choose to pay homage to her pal by revamping the look and tweeted Kim, which was followed by Kim’s stamp of approval
