We told you previously that former ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ star Apollo Nida was set granted an early release in 2020 after serving several years already of his eight year sentence.

Apollo was originally sentenced to eight years in prison for fraud and identity theft in 2014. With this order, a full year has been taken off of Apollo’s sentence. He is now scheduled to be released in August 2020 and will be on probation for several years thereafter, according to The Blast.

Well now, its been confirmed that as of Tuesday (June 4), the ex husband to Phaedra Parks has officially been released almost a full year earlier than expected and will be living in a halfway house in Philly for the next few months.

The ex-husband of The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks has left FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey and has been moved into a halfway house in Philadelphia where he is expected to stay until the middle of October.

Apollo began his eight-year prison sentence for fraud and identity theft in 2014. However, it was reported in March 2019 that a federal judge had signed off on an order to reduce his prison sentence from 96 months (eight years) to 84 months (seven years). He was then scheduled to be released in August 2020 and then be put on probation for several years thereafter, according to The Blast.

Apollo’s legal troubles were documented on RHOA while he was still married to Phaedra. The couple wed in 2009, but Phaedra later announced her plans to divorce Apollo in 2014. They reportedly reached a divorce settlement in 2017.

Still, Apollo started looking toward the future while he was in prison. He got engaged to Sherien Almufti in 2016. She later made an appearance in Season 9 of RHOA.

With ongoing reports that Phaedra is in talks to return to RHOA, now would be the perfect time as fans are curious to see what she’s been up to, and how the release of Apollo will impact her and their children.

Stay tuned.
