Justin Timberlake is on the comeback trail for his new album and following his performance at SNL last weekend, the singer held a special free concert for fans at New York’s Irving Plaza on Wednesday night (Jan.31).

As he went into the opening of his hit ‘Cry Me a River,’ the singer decided to make a double back on his previous 2021 apology and open letter to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson by shouting to the crowd:

“I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f**king nobody.”

The bold move comes just days after Spears issued an apology to him for comments she made about him in her memoir, ‘The Woman in Me,’ which went viral weeks ago.

She also took the opportunity to promote JT’s new single ‘Selfish’ and encouraged fans to support him even though her fans launched a campaign to overshadow his single by streaming her 2011 track of the same name.

The campaign resulted in Spears’ ‘Selfish’ track rising to the top of the charts and duking it out with JT’s which was just released.

Needless to say, the people were not here for it! including Britney who took to social media to clap back!
