Kandi Burruss has been in the headlines all over social media all week for her group drama with Xscape that has played out HERE and HERE and HERE.
However, on Thursday the ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star took to her Live to chat it up with fans and answer some questions. One was poised to her regarding the status of her spin-off show ‘Kandi & The Gang’ and when fans can expect season 2.
To the surprise of some, the singer/reality star revealed that despite successful ratings, the show will not be renewed for a second season. She also revealed that she is not happy about the news and is saddened by the recent revelation that the network has opted not to renew.

Unfortunate news. The update comes just weeks after there was a shooting at Kandi and husband, Todd Tucker’s upscale restaurant, Blaze Steak and Seafood back in September.
The incident went viral after Kandi’s nephew, Chef Melvin Jones, was shot by one of his co-workers who then reportedly went on the run. The restaurant shut down briefly as after the incident but reopened days later.
Too bad as we were fans of the show. RIP Kandi & The Gang.
