The R&B powerhouse took to social media early Saturday (Oct. 5) to tease some new music is on the way for her fans
Kelly promises to bring back what she says has been missing from today’s R&B music–“lyrics, melody, and vocals.”

The tease comes days after she shared another photoshoot snap with the caption “You ready ???”, seemingly for promotion of the new music.
Kelly’s last musical release was 2021’s ‘Grace’ EP, preceded by her seventh studio album ‘Sing, Pray, Love, Vol. 1: Sing.’ That album featured the uptempo bop “It’s My Time.”
