RIP Lakeisha Grant!
La La Anthony is making her promotional rounds following last Sunday’s jaw-dropping episode of ‘Power‘ where her beloved (and sometimes loathed) character Lakeisha met her ultimate demise.
La La stopped by ‘The Breakfast Club‘ this week to dish on the final season, the mind-blowing (pun intended) killing of her character and how she felt when she found out the news that she’d been killed off the show. She also addressed the constant critique that she’s not a good actress.
She also dished on balancing her career and motherhood, if she allows her son to watch the show and her relationship drama with husband Carmelo Anthony that’s played out in the media.
On life after ‘Power’, she dished on her new role in ‘The Chi‘ Season 3 as we previously confirmed, and what it’s like transitioning from her previous character and show of 6 years to now playing a new role. She also revealed that she and 50 Cent are working on a new series.
