They say somethings nothing brings people together like a funeral and it looks like Keyshia Cole and Lil’ Kim have put their past issues aside and reconciled over the weekend.
The two posed it up for photos taken and shared by Keyshia to Instagram that features her, Kim and Missy Elliott at the funeral of Kim Porter that took place in Columbus, GA on Saturday.
The 37-year-old singer to Instagram on Saturday and wrote, “Rest in paradise @ladykp ❤️ We all came together for you!! ??.”
This was the trios first time together since making their hit song collaboration ‘Let It Go‘ released in 2007. Keyshia and Kim didn’t have any issues until 2011 after Keyshia released a collaboration with Kim’s rap rival Nicki Minaj titled ‘I Ain’t Thru.’
On the record, Nicki threw some shady jabs at Kim and the Queen Bee felt disrespected that Keyshia let Minaj diss her on their track. Kim felt that Keyshia betrayed her after they had previously worked together.
Keyshia and Kim’s issues spilled out on Twitter back then when Keyshia tweeted: “Lil Kim and I a r not ‘friends’ I take that term very seriously. We made wonderful music. That is it.”
Kim shot back: “U got that right. We are not friends. … Friend or no friend I would have never let anybody disrespect u on my record but I can’t expect everyone to be as real as i am.”
However fast forward to now, it looks like things are all well. Fans took to Keyshia’s comments on the post suggesting that the ladies reunite for a ‘Let It Go’ part 2.
