Lifetime is expanding their resume as it pertains to biopics, and reportedly are working on a highly anticipated Michael Jackson film.

The same day a British television network nixed plans to air a dramatized depiction of a wild urban legend about Michael Jackson following a backlash, Lifetime announced it is prepping a biopic on the late King of Pop.
Based on a 2014 book from two of Jacksonâs personal security guards, âMichael Jackson: Searching for Neverlandâ (the filmâs working title) will trace the singerâs final years.
Currently in pre-production, the film will begin shooting in Los Angeles in February.
âSearching for Neverlandâ is told through the lens of Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard, who worked as Jacksonâs bodyguards.
It is further reported that the lead role will be filled by long time MJ impersonator, Navi, who was praised by Michael himself. Get into some of his work below.
