As I previously told you HERE, Lifetime is planning yet another celebrity bio-pic, this time it will be famed singer Toni Braxton. The film was just announced days ago but is apparently already taking shape and casting details are being released.

Although the lead role for Toni has not been announced, the role of Toni’s younger sister and fellow singer Tamar Braxton has been filled. According to the Grio, the role of the feisty singer, reality star and daytime diva will be played by actress Tiffany Hines.

The TV movie will be directed by Vondie Curtis-Hall and executive produced by Braxton, Craig Baumgarten, Erik Kritzer and Marcus Grant. The biopic will focus on the life and career of Toni Braxton. Hines currently plays a recurring role in “Stitchers” and also starred in the reboot of “90210” and also the show “Lincoln Heights”.
