Could Mariah Carey be on her way to our small screens for a new reality TV show? if new reports pan out to be true then the answer is yes! and its slated to be hilarious. According to US Magazine:
Mariah Carey’s sweet fantasy is becoming a reality. The five-time Grammy winner is shooting a docu-style series that chronicles the behind-the-scenes drama of her Las Vegas residency, Mariah #1 to Infinity, and, come this spring, her two-month European tour, a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
“Mariah’s excited to show some personal family moments,” says the pal. “It’ll definitely show another side to her.”
Scoring the series was an easy task for the mom of 4-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan (with ex Nick Cannon). “Her manager is a reality TV producer and got her the deal,” says a second source.
And while Carey, engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer, has yet to get an official air date, she already has a title in mind: Mariah’s Squad. “The show is also about Mariah and the crew around her,” adds a third insider. “It’s nuts. Mariah is very funny on camera.”
And wherever Carey goes, the spotlight follows. At the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Party on February 28, “it appeared as if Mariah brought her own camera crew,” says a witness at the West Hollywood event. “She kept checking to make sure her team got the shots they needed. She was the only guest with a personal crew!”
No word on when and where we can expect to see the show but once it arrives we are sure it will be quite entertaining. Mariah provides unlimited glitz, glamour, drama and shade aplenty so I will definitely be tuned in.
