Lil’ Kim is pressing forward with the promo for her new single ‘Nasty One‘ and it’s accompanying album due later this year. Following her ‘TRL’ visit, the Queen Bee also hit up ‘Shade 45‘ on Sirius XM to dish on her new project and more.

While discussing the album and single, Kim reveals that she has heard fans cries for the “old Kim” sound like on her classic Hardcore album. Kim says she plans to bring a “happy medium” where she can bridge her new “fun” sound with her classic street sound.

She also dished on her legacy, thoughts on the new artist and the ridicule that “mumble rap” gets, as well as the new generation not respecting the vets and legends. Get into it all below.
