‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood‘ is winding down its current season which means it’s time for fans to get ready to head back to the NYC for the original, ‘Love & Hip Hop‘ set to return on Oct. 30 on VH1.
Ahead of it’s return, we’ve got a bit of tea on what fans can expect to see for the new season, including the return of Hip Hop Queen, Remy Ma, the transition of one Hollywood cast member to the NY cast, and a new gay couple being added to the mix.

Starting off with returning cast, of course fans can expect to see Remy Ma, LHHNY OG, Yandy Smith returning as well as last season addition, Juju back for the new season.
As far as who is new! viewers will be introduced to a new gay couple, in Jonathan Fernandez, a very well known makeup artist who is best known from his good friend K.Michelle‘s show ‘My Life.’ Fans will see him moving and shaking and exploring his relationship with model and up & coming R&B singer Trent Crews. Jonathan is also really good friends with Yandy and Juju.
In a surprising move, fans should also expect to see former OG, Somaya Reece return for season 8 after departing the show years ago. She will join alongside fellow rapper, Lady Luck.

It also is being reported that singer Lil Mo and her husband Karl Dargan will be newbees to the cast. This is Mo’s first stint in reality TV since ‘R&B Divas: LA’ was cancelled a couple years back.
As alluded to on the last episode of LHHH, Safaree Samuels will now be leaving the Hollywood cast and heading back to his hometown of NYC. Safaree himself also seemingly confirmed this during an interview last week where he revealed he has several reality show deals in the works.
Get into a few other reported newbees this season including a former ‘Bad Girls Club‘ star.

Remy Ma – fresh off her win at the BET Awards as Best Female Artist and with her position in the hip hop game solidified, Remy’s mission is to push unity for women in hip hop and show an overly-masculine world that women can have and do it all.
