What the queen Bey has done with her new surprise album ‘Beyonce’ is nothing short of extraordinary! After dropping in the late hours on Thursday night Bey’s self titled album sold over 80,000 copies in just three hours. The set would go to reach the 450,000 mark by Saturday, but today comes news that is sure to send her Beyhive into a frenzy.
As of today (December 16) Beyonce’ has reached 828,773 copies in its first three days. That’s not all, according to a press release from Apple that makes the album the fastest selling album ever in the history of iTunes worldwide.
The success of the album has also earned Bey the largest sales week of 2013 for a woman, the highest since Taylor Swift who sold 1.2 million copies of her album ‘Red’ last year.
