Here For It: Malaysia Pargo Reportedly WILL Return To ‘BBWLA’ Season 6, Following Initially Being Let Go “Fans Love Malaysia, Network Wanted To Make It Work”

It looks like despite initially being fired from ‘Basketball Wives: LA‘ season 6 which is currently filming, OG Malaysia Pargo is officially back and will be a full time cast member for the new season.

As you know, this season will see Evelyn Lozada join the fold alongside Shaunie O’ Neal, Tami Roman, and Jackie Christie, Keonna Green, the mother of NBA baller Nick Young and Aja Metoyer, who has a son with NBA baller Dwyane Wade and two children with Damon Wayans Jr., are also joining as the newbees.

The new changes apparently were the reason for Malaysia getting the boot back in late 2016 when taping for season 6 began, but now according to reports from The Jasmine Brand, the fan fave is officially back and budget issues have been resolved.

Producers never wanted to fire Malaysia. She’s always been a favorite, but this season there were more budget constraints.

We’re told that bringing Evelyn Lozada back to the show, along with other new cast members, tied up more of what they usually pay each cast member per episode. A source adds,

Fans love Malaysia, so the network wanted to make it work.

Insiders say this season, they’ll follow more of Malaysia’s personal life, along with building her business brand. BBWLA began filming in November and sources say that Malaysia was recently spotted filming and will return as an official cast member.

Her close friend, Brandi, will not return to the show.

If you’re like me, you’re ecstatic to hear the news, as many fans were very upset to hear that Malaysia and Brandi hadn’t made the cut for season 6. Specifically Malaysia, as she and Jackie remained the sole original cast members of the LA franchise.
We can’t wait to see what drama the ladies have in store when BBWLA season 6 returns to VH1 later this year.
