The last season of Basketball Wives (the original) was met with much criticism as fans who grew tired of the ladies and cited the story lines as being now contrived and forced.
Many still had lingering negative feelings from all the drama that transpired in the season prior with Jennifer Williams and the ladies, which ultimately ended in Jennifer not returning. Then the season ended without a reunion show, due to Evelyn Lozada not wanting to participate. All of which spelled out a less than promising fate for the franchise, but lets not forget there are still their LA based counterparts.
During an interview with HipHollywood Basketball Wives: LA star Malaysia Pargo discussed their upcoming new season, while confirming the return of herself, Draya Michele, and Jackie Christie, the four new ladies added, and talked the “interesting twist” and dynamic with Draya that fans should expect to see in the new season.
