Marques Houston is officially bringing the dance back to the big screen—and the streets are already talking.
The singer, actor, and former Marques Houston recently took to social media to announce that a sequel to the культ classic You Got Served is in the works. Titled You Got Served 2, the announcement instantly sent fans into a nostalgic frenzy, with many calling it long overdue.
The original 2004 film, which starred Houston alongside Omarion, helped define an era of street dance culture, introducing audiences to high-energy choreography, dance battles, and a soundtrack that still hits today. It became a cultural staple—especially for millennials who grew up trying to recreate those iconic routines in living rooms, school talent shows, and block parties.
While Houston hasn’t revealed full details just yet—like storyline, or release date—he did reveal to Side Dish host Headkrack that he is producing the project, and has reached out to the B2K and the original cast, as well as Teyana Taylor, and Chris Brown.
