Fans of Martin Lawrence were delivered a big treat late this week, when the comedian/actor took to his Instagram/Facebook accounts to announce a sequel to one of his biggest movies is in the works.
“Just finished writing A Thin Line Between Love and Hate 2. Excited as a MF! #crazyderanged #comingatyou”. he shared on the upcoming follow up to his hit 1996 movie which he co-stared in with Lynn Whitfield, Regina King, Bobby Brown and Della Reese.
The comedic thriller which centered around Martin’s character being a night club owner who is a ladies man, finally coming across the wrong woman (Lynn Whitfield) who makes his life a living hell after playing with her heart. The film went on to make over $30 million at the U.S. box offices.
No word on solid details on ‘A Thin Line Between Love & Hate 2’ but Lawrence is teaming back up with Bentley Kyle Evans who was also co-screenwriter for the original flick. We certainly hope everyone reprises their roles in some capacity or should there be a whole new roster of characters in the updated version?
This is one of the upcoming movies fans should expect to see from Martin, as he is also set to reprise his role in third installment of the mega blockbuster hit ‘Bad Boys’ alongside Will Smith as we told you last year HERE.
