Monica is readying new music for fans!
The singer who has been prepping her upcoming studio album ‘Trenches’ for quite some time, recently revealed that the project is indeed still on the way.
She also revealed that she is working on her first-ever country album, ‘ Open Roads,’ which is set to arrive soon.
Before that though, the singer is making sure to give her R&B fans what they’ve been craving. This week, the singer took to social media to announce her new single ‘Friends‘ ft. Ty Dolla $ign is set to drop on July 15. She also gave fans a little snippet of it to tide them over.
Monica also recently performed the song and a slew of her classic hits at NPR’s Tiny Desk for an intimate concert. If you missed that, check it out below.
