Monica is ready to tackle the world of Country music!
The R&B singer attended last night’s CMT Awards where she performed her collaboration with Jimmie Allen and Little Big Town called ‘Pray,’ live on stage for the first time.
Not only that, Monica revealed during her red carpet interview that she is currently working on her first-ever Country album titled ‘Open Roads,’ which will be produced by country star Brandi Carlile.
The news comes as fans of the singer are still expecting her long-delayed new R&B album ‘Trenches,’ which has been in the works for quite some time.
