Monique Samuels is making headlines, not only for her return to “The Real Housewives of Potomac” this season but also for her off-screen relationship with her former co-host.
A clip of Monique and comedian Jason Weems, her former co-host, has gone viral, showcasing the two embracing and appearing romantically involved.
In response to the clip and the various reports surrounding her relationship with Jason, Monique has spoken out to clarify the situation.
The leaked video was reportedly filmed during a time when both were separated from their respective spouses, a period that was also covered in “Love & Marriage DC”. Monique revealed on Angela Yee’s show that the clip was leaked by her ex-husband, Chris Samuels, in an attempt to sabotage her.
On Friday (Dec. 5) Monique continued the promo trail and returned to WPGC, the home of the morning show where she and Jason met, and worked to dish on the drama surrounding their relationship, and more.
