Last Friday, pop culture went into a frenzy when it was revealed that Kim Kardashian and her main squeeze, Kanye West, were on the cover of Vogue magazine. The polarizing pair had their fair share of people who felt dismayed at Anna Wintour’s decision to put them on the cover. “Part of the pleasure of editing Vogue, one that lies in a long tradition of this magazine, is being able to feature those who define culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it,” she wrote. “I think we can all agree on the fact that that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye to a T.” Today, Vogue has released more pictures from the spread showing the loving couple with their daughter, North. The issue will hit newstands next week.
