Beyonce just wrapped her ‘Mrs. Carter Show’ tour, and just last summer Jay-Z hit stadiums around the US for his ‘Legends of Summer Tour’ with Justin Timberlake, and now it is being reported that the two will team up and shut down stadiums together this summer. According to Page Six:
Sources exclusively tell Page Six that hip hopâs royal couple plans to announce a 20-stadium US tour that will start in late June â and that itâs possible the couple could perform in New York on July 4.
The two recently wrapped individual tours that supported their latest albums: Jay closed out 52 dates for his âMagna CartaâŠHoly Grailâ in January, while Bey wrapped her âMrs. Carter Showâ tour in March.
The couple has performed their hit single, âDrunk in Love,â together at a string of high-profile shows, including this yearâs Grammy Awards, a DirecTV Super Bowl party and BeyoncĂ©âs O2 Arena gig in London on Feb. 28.
