Janet Jackson is one of the biggest stars in the universe, and despite being such an iconic figure, she’s remained relatively private, and guarded with her personal life for most of her career.
That is why when it was announced in September that the mega-star was readying a new two-night documentary simply tilted ‘Janet,’ set to air this January, fans were mindblown with excitement.
We saw in a previously released trailer that the Queen of Pop was set to tackle many topics that she’s never addressed publicly including her relationships, the death of her brother, Michael Jackson, and of course, the infamous Superbowl fiasco with Justin Timberlake and much more.
Now, on the first day of January, just weeks ahead of the premiere, Janet has unveiled a smoking hot new extended trailer that dives in more giving fans a glimpse of what they will see when the special airs on January 28 and January 29 at 8 pm EST on Lifetime and A&E.
The four-hour film was executive produced by Janet and her brother Randy Jackson and features appearances from Missy Elliott, Ciara, Mariah Carey, Samuel J. Jackson, Q-Tip, Whoppi Goldberg, Teyana Taylor, Regina King, and more.
Needless to say, we’re SO EXCITED!
