Its been reported that the Donald Trump administration is having a hard time finding acts to perform at his upcoming inauguration in January, but now an unexpected performer is stepping up to the plate and is willing to do it.

Singer/songwriter, Ne-Yo recently revealed that he would perform, but before you get your panties in a bunch and start boycotting his music, listen to his explanation below.

Via BET:

In a new interview with TMZ, the singer said that, in the hypothetical situation of Trump asking him to perform at his inauguration, he’d accept the invitation without hesitation.

“I wouldn’t go because I support Donald Trump, I’d go because it’s a dope party,” he said with a huge grin on his face.

He then adds that he’d go to collect his check and would do so while flipping Trump the bird.

After all, business (and life) must go on.
