Nene Leakes just put down $2 million on her new Georgia mansion, so the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star has to make sure the money keeps coming in to pay for that lavish pad. The reality star reportedly was spotted this weekend looking for new commercial property to house a rumored boutique she is planning to open. According to TMZ:
NeNe was in Atlantic City scouting this week for retail space at The Playground … a revamped oceanfront shopping center. We’re told NeNe plans to sell her own clothing line — NeNe by NeNe Leakes (clever) — as well as other brands.
Our sources say … in addition to A.C., NeNe is eyeing locations in New York, Los Angeles and Georgia. We’re told planning is in early stages and she hasn’t inked any deals yet.
Nene previously announced that she was working on an upcoming project with her pal Kim Kardashian, no word if these new boutiques have anything to do with that but she clearly is taking a page from the Kardashian 101 book. Stay tuned.
