I previously told you that singer Mya is gearing up for the release of her new independent album, Smoove Jones which will be released on February 14, the 18th anniversary of her very first single “It’s All About Me,” which came out on Valentine’s Day 1998.
Mya has been dropping teasers for fans and two singles “Team You” and “Welcome To My World,” but now the DMV native is sharing more music in advance of the sets release this weekend.
On Wednesday she shared a teaser cut from the album, a slow sensual track called “Afta Glow Show.” The track which sees Mya playing a late night radio DJ on an adult station, appears to serve as an interlude for the album. This will be the Mya’s twelfth project overall, and eighth since going independent and producing her new album by herself.
