It’s officially been 30 years since Moesha first premiered, and two of the show’s most memorable stars are giving the iconic series its well-deserved flowers.
This weekend, Shar Jackson and Countess Vaughn came together to celebrate the milestone anniversary, reflecting on the impact the show had on culture, Black girlhood, and an entire generation that grew up watching Moesha navigate life, friendships, and family on screen.
Shar, who played Niecy, and Countess, forever etched in TV history as Kim Parker, shared love, laughs, and throwback energy while honoring a show that helped define ’90s Black television. From the fashion to the catchphrases to the storylines we still quote today, Moesha remains one of those shows that lives rent-free in the culture.
Thirty years later, the legacy is still loud, the nostalgia is real, and the love for Moesha hasn’t faded one bit. If you grew up on UPN Thursdays, this one definitely hits home.
Get into their moment, and some other fun clips from the show below.

Bonus moment! Relive JoJo Crews’ The Brunch Is Mine birthday party from November 2025, where we brought Moesha nostalgia to life by transforming The Den into a throwback celebration honoring Brandy & Monica during their DC stop on The Boy Is Mine Tour.
