‘Bel-Air’ fans were saddened to hear that the show will end with its upcoming fourth and final season but the show is set to pull out all the stops for its grand finale.
It will be a full-circle moment for the actress who originated the role of Will’s Aunt Vivian on the original sitcom as she joins the series Peacock’s modern-day reimagining of ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.’
According to the streamer, Hubert will play a wise woman who meets Hilary (Coco Jones) and becomes instrumental to the Banks family.
Actress Caroline Chikezie (Power Book II: Ghost) will also guest-star in the final season as Dominique Warren, the leader of Geoffrey’s (Jimmy Akingbola) former London gang who is also like a sister to him.
Fans are aware that Hubert and Will Smith had years of tension following her abrupt exit from the original series when she was replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid in season 4.
After years of estrangement, Hubert and Smith made amends in 2020 for the first time in 27 years, marking the occasion with an HBO Max reunion special timed to coincide with the show’s 30th anniversary.
Tyra Banks who also appeared on the OG series is making an appearance on Season 4. Previous OG cast members Tatyana Ali, Daphne Reid, Vernee Watson-Johnson, and Joseph Marcell appeared on past seasons of the new series.
Season 4 is set to premiere Nov. 24 on Peacock.
