If you’ve been keeping up with Mo’Nique, you are aware that things are still not good between she and Oprah Winfrey, and Mo has not held her tongue on her ill feelings on Lady O. Well in a recent interview with Global Grind, Oprah alongside Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling sat down to discuss their new film, ‘A Wrinkle in Time.’
During the sit down, the interviewer got ballsy and asked Oprah her thoughts on Mo’Nique’s negative comments as well as Donald Trump’s recent statements about her. Oprah revealed that she will not respond to either of them because she chooses to take the high road.
“It’s impossible, it’s a law that if you meet negative with negative you will just have a combustive negative force of energy,” said Oprah. “You can’t meet negative energy where it is, you have to rise above it, you have to transcend it. You have to be the light. It only takes a little bit of light to banish the darkness, it takes a lot of darkness to overcome the light. It takes just a little bit of light and we are warriors of the light. I would never stoop to try to meet somebody where they are negatively. Don’t care who they are.”

Well shortly after, Mo took to social media to address Oprah’s statement.
