Designer Olivier Rousteing went for a modern tribal approach with his fall/winter 2014 collection for Balmain. The models stomped the runway in bandeau skirts and ultilitarian-inspired jackets with cinched waist. Peplum tops were sprinkled throughout the collection often with strong woven detail. Other stand out pieces were the skirts embellished with intertwined rope as well as bamboo-heeled stilettos itched in various patterns.
