We’re less than a week away from the season final of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ and following Sunday’s episode where Apollo Nida‘s new girlfriend, Sherien Almufti made her super messy appearance at the opening of Kandi‘s OLG Restaurant, now Phaedra Parks is speaking out.
The mother of two, took to her Bravo blog on Monday evening (April 3) to give her thoughts on seeing Peter Thomas and Todd Tucker welcome Apollo’s new boo to Atlanta and introduce her to the girls.
Bravotv.com: What went through your mind seeing Apollo’s girlfriend show up at the OLG restaurant party?
Phaedra: It was my birthday so I am glad I decided to spend it with Porsha instead of being ambushed at the OLG opening! Even though Apollo and I are no longer together, this was disappointing for me to watch. Not because of my feelings, but because we have two young and impressionable sons who very much need a positive male role model, and this sort of behavior is not something I would want them to associate with their father
Bravotv.com: Have your parents been supportive during the divorce?
Phaedra: My parents are my rock; no matter what is happening in my life, they are there for me with love, strength, wisdom, and prayer. Both of my parents are Pastors and believe in the sanctity of marriage, however they understand that things don’t always work out the way we want despite our faith. They continue to support me unconditionally and give me the guidance only a parent can provide. They always help with my children. They are a source of love and stability for my sons. God could not have blessed our family with better parents and grandparents.Bravotv.com: Did you like your Frack onesie?
Phaedra: Porsha was so thoughtful to put together such a fun girls’ evening for my birthday. She always lifts my spirits and is very supportive of me. I loved our matching onesies; no matter how old Porsha and I get, we will always be Frick and Frack!
