As we previously reported, ‘106 & Park’ is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and the festivities have already begun.
Yesterday, it was announced that the BET Awards 2025 will pay tribute to the iconic show with a special segment that includes a reunion of all the hosts along with live performances.
Former hosts Terrence J, Rocsi Diaz, and AJ Calloway appeared on ‘The Breakfast Club‘ on Thursday to discuss the exciting news with DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, Loren Lorosa, and Jess Hilarious.
Unfortunately, they were one member short, as fan-favorite host, Free was unable to attend due to a medical appointment. However, she confirmed that she will be present at the BET Awards tribute.
During the interview, the trio reminisced about the show’s origins, shared their favorite memories, and discussed the upcoming celebration, which includes plans for a documentary, teases of a reboot, and more.
They also addressed the controversial departures of AJ and Free from the show, the challenges Terrence and Rocsi faced in stepping into their roles, the perceived on-air drama between Terrence and Rocsi, as well as an unknown feud involving Terrence and Charlamagne.
