We told you a few weeks ago that Queen Latifah would be returning to daytime with The Queen Latifah Show. Queen is really bringing star power as you see her celebrity pals Will Smith, Steve Martin, and Jamie Foxx in the official trailer for the show. Now Queen tells Essence magazine, that star power may be amplified if plans for a certain reunion goes her way.

The return of Queen’s show coincides with the 20 year anniversary of her hit 90’s show ‘Living Single’, so what better way to commemorate that then a full cast reunion on daytime TV! Queen tells Essence:

“Oh man! I would love to! I was just talking to Kim Coles the other day and Erika [Alexander] and I were texting. The Living Single cast is like family to me,”  “We spent five years together. I love all of them. Everybody is doing different things, all over the place. That will always be my family.”

This would be amazing to see the cast back together, and its good to hear that they all still keep in touch and are still pursuing endeavors. Make sure to watch The Queen Latifah Show when it begins airing September 16 on CBS.
