For years fans have attempted to pit former Murder Inc. princess Ashanti against Beyonce, since Ashanti at one point arguably was the Beyonce of the early 2000’s. However despite the alleged competition the two had nothing but love and were all smiles on Monday night during the New York Nets game at Barclays .
Ashanti was on deck to perform the US National Anthem at the event, which was also attended by Jay-Z (who owns a stake in the venue). The two music divas posed it up along with Jay and Ashanti’s younger sister.
