Remy Ma may be silent on the music front right now, but that doesn’t mean the Hip Hop heavyweight isn’t keeping busy with other ventures on her plate.

Last year Remy opened up her very own boutique named ‘Conceited’ after her smash hit single from her debut album. Well now Rem is taking her fashion endeavors a step further and has launched her own fashion collection that will help benefit women and their families who have been affected by incarceration just as she was.

The line/collection is tied in to her brand new Remy Ma Foundation that also launched this week as well which will provide resources to women who have served their time and debt to society once they come home from prison.

Get into the official announcement and details below.

#Repost @remymafoundation ・・・ I’m so excited everyone! Today I officially launch my clothing line The Remy Ma Collection @VIMVixen! When I got out of prison I wanted to do something to support women just like me who have done their time, paid their debt to society and starting over. I quickly learned how much women are overlooked and forgotten when they are released from jail or prison. Services largely cater to men, while women come out and are left unsupported. However, women are the foundation – they are birthing and growing the next generation regardless of their past. So this passion was the inspiration behind The Remy Ma Collection – we can help them – together! Every time you purchase pieces from The Remy Ma Collection @VIMVixen – the proceeds go directly to @remymafoundation (follow us). I created this foundation to become a continuous resource in enhancing the lives of women who have experienced incarceration. To serve as a network to build them up with education, housing, counseling, legal services, job training & more. I’m so very proud of this moment – I dreamt about this for 7 winters, and 6 summers and it’s here! Female empowerment, music, fashion – definitely my passions; and now I get to put them altogether! Thank you to my entire team and @VIMVixen for seeing my vision and making it real. Thank you in advance to all my fans for supporting this line – please shop, get fly & sexy with the #RemyMaCollection; and we will build women up together! So dope! BTW… stay tuned fans you get a chance to win a whole shopping spree soon! Go to shopvimvixen.com / @vimvixen and stop by any Vim store in the 5 boroughs and NJ to check out my new line! #RMVV #RemyMaFoundation www.remymafoundation.org Ps (the outfit I have on in this picture is from my collection)?

I’m so excited to finally launch my very own clothing line through @vimvixen! When I got out of prison, I wanted to do something to support women just like me…women who have done their time and paid their debt to society. Nonetheless, these women are still over-looked and forgotten after being released from jail or prison. Resources and services are largely catered to men, disregarding the women that greatly need our support. A portion of the proceeds from my clothing line “The Remy Ma Collection” will go towards my foundation @remymafoundation, which helps women who have experienced incarceration, by providing opportunities and life-long resources to help enhance their lives and the lives of their families. I am so very proud of this moment! Launching both a clothing line and foundation are two things I have been very passionate about since my release from prison! I want to thank my entire team and @VIMVixen for seeing and supporting my vision of helping women all over the country! Stay tuned, because I will be giving my fans a chance to win a shopping spree really soon! And don’t forget you can stop by any Vim store in the 5 boroughs and NJ to purchase the #RemyMaCollection and you can shop online at SHOPVIMVIXEN.COM #remyma #remymafia!!! ???
