This season of The Real Housewives of Potomac has no shortage of drama — but what fans are really talking about isn’t just shade or messy reads. It’s the way newbie Angel Massie is being treated by the group.
From the jump, Angel’s experience on the show has felt like a course in bullying and hazing 101, at least according to a growing number of viewers. Instead of playful shade or organic conflict, fans say Angel has repeatedly been dismissed, talked down to, and isolated — with little room to simply exist and find her footing.

The tipping point for a lot of viewers came during the cast trip to Aspen, where Angel appeared to be singled out yet again — with editing choices and group dynamics making her look like the odd woman out. Instead of letting moments breathe, the energy felt stacked against her, fueling the perception that she was being set up as the season’s punching bag.
