Rosie O' Donnell To Return To 'The View' For Season 18 After Sherri Shepherd & Jenny McCarthy Departures [Video]

Well less than a day after the emotional announcement that Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy are both departing ‘The View’ after much speculation, now comes word that one of those seats have already been filled. The shows former co-host Rosie O’ Donnell has reportedly signed on to return to the show after her first run on the show from 2006–2007. TMZ reports:

The announcement will be made shortly.
.. the negotiations fired up a few days ago and the deal was almost completed by end of business day Monday.

The deal is now complete. Rosie will join Whoopi Goldberg on the show. As we reported, producers are also looking for a Latina and a conservative. Two conservative candidates who are being scoped are Abby Huntsman and Margaret Hoover.
