Wendy Williams had a major health scare on Tuesday’s show when the daytime talk show host literally passed out on live air during the last 15 minutes of her show.

The outspoken host came out dressed as the Statue of Liberty for her Halloween themed episode, and pushed through ‘Hot Topics’ and other segments of the show. Toward the end of the show, Wendy returned from commercial break and things quickly went left and New York Daily News has confirmed the fall was the real deal.

Wendy Williams passed out during the Halloween episode of her talk show on Tuesday morning.

The 53-year-old host was dressed in costume as the Statue of Liberty and as she was speaking to the audience her speech started slowing down and she stumbled before falling to the ground.

Video shows members of her staff running to her aid.

After a commercial break, she told the audience: “That was not a stunt. I overheated in my costume. I passed out.”

“I’m a champ and I’m back,” she continued, according to a video posted by a viewer.

The FDNY responded to a call for a medical episode around 10: 30 a.m. at 221 W. 26th St. The address is the same location as the “Wendy” studio, but authorities would not confirm to the Daily News if the call was in response to the host’s on-air medical scare.

She seemed to have recovered in the episode as she was dancing around with fans who were also dressed in Halloween costumes.

“(She is) on her way home for a good day and ofnite (sic)sleep. She has been examined by medical professionals and is well. She is ok and will continue as shows as planned. She will address this on-air tomorrow,” Torossian said. “She has never missed a day of work and is looking forward on November 13th to her 1500th show.”
