School Is Back In Session! ABC & Quinta Brunson Unveil 'Abbott Elementary' Season 2 Teaser & Premiere Date [Video]

ABC struck gold with season 1 of the Quinta Brunson-created smash hit ‘Abbott Elementary’ as the freshman comedy blew ratings through the roof for the network (as we previously told you HERE), and secured itself a season 2 renewal just weeks after its premiere.

On Wednesday, the network sent fans of the show into a frenzy when it unveiled the season 2 premiere date and a new teaser to build anticipation.

In the clip, staff members Janine Teagues (Quinta Brunson), Gregory Eddie (Tyler James Williams), Ava Coleman (Janelle James), Melissa Schemmenti (Lisa Ann Walter), Barbara Howard (Sheryl Lee Ralph), and Jacob Hill (Chris Perfetti) return to school backed by the Boyz II Men classic ‘Motown Philly.’
