As you know, season 11 of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ filming is in full swing, and as previously reported, Sheree Whitfield is OUT!
It was reported immediately following the season 10 reunion airing back in the Spring, that she and Kim Zolciak Biermann would not be returning. Sheree also took to social media in the weeks following to allude that she was offered a contract that was not to her liking and that she “knew her worth” but she did not directly confirm.
Well now, thanks to the new Instagram Question feature, fans know exactly why she is not returning, and according to her, she was NOT fired. When quizzed by fans, the “She By Sheree” designer revealed that she was indeed asked to come back for season 11, but as a “friend of the show” just as it was reported Kenya Moore had been asked to be for season 11. As we told you, Kenya had been negotiating her contract because she too did not want to take a “friend” status on the show.
Sheree revealed that the offer she was given was a complete low ball, and that is why she declined returning. She also reveals that she has reached out to Nene Leakes since the announcement of Gregg Leakes cancer diagnosis, although she did not specify if Nene actually replied.
