As if we couldn’t love Jaden Smith any more for his cool, unique and care free black boy personality–now the actor/musician has done something that is near and dear to my heart!
Jaden has launched a vegan pop-up food truck called “I Love You Restaurant” which will serve free vegan food to the homeless. Jaden’s truck will serve the people on Skid Row, an area in Los Angeles that contains one of the United States’ largest homeless populations.
“The @ILoveYouRestaurant Is A Movement That Is All About Giving People What They Deserve, Healthy, Vegan Food For Free,” he wrote as his caption. “Today We Launched Our First One Day Food Truck Pop-Up in Downtown LA. Keep A Look Out Because This Is The First Of Many #JADENinc” he shared on Instagram earlier this week.
This isn’t Smith’s first go at giving back to the community. Back in March, he donated a Water Box mobile filtration system to the people of Flint, Michigan and did it again in June to help with their ongoing water crisis.
