After a highly successful summer with the breakout smash “Boo’d Up” and it’s follow up “Trip,” British R&B singer Ella Mai has just released her self titled debut album.
The 16 song set arrived on Friday and is Executive produced by Mustard, and features duets with Chris Brown on “Whatchamacallit”, John Legend on “Everything,” and H.E.R. on “Gut Feeling.”
The previously released singles “Trip” which went gold and 3x platinum hit “Boo’d Up” are also staples on the album. “Boo’d Up” dominated on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart for 14 weeks, becoming the longest-running No. 1 by a woman this decade.
