Tamar Braxton is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her breakout album ‘Love and War’ and she’s announced that she will be going on tour to keep the party going.
Tamar made the announcement on Wednesday via a promo video shared across her social media accounts.
The tour kicks off Oct. 24 at Irving Plaza in New York, New York, and will see the trek touch down in Atlanta, Georgia; Silver Spring, Maryland; Detroit, Michigan and more.
Ticket presale begins Thursday, Sept. 7. Tickets go on sale to the public this Friday, Sept. 8.
‘Love and War’ was released on Sept. 3, 2013, and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 114,000 copies sold in the first week.
The single “Love and War” spent nine weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart becoming Braxton’s first No. 1 hit on this chart. The song went on to be nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best R&B Song, and Best R&B Performance at the 56th Grammy Awards.
