Although it was a close fight, Ariana Grande beat out ‘Love & War’ diva Tamar Braxton to the top of Billboard Hot 100. Braxton however still has much to celebrate with her album selling over 117k copies as we told you yesterday. Braxton took the time to congratulate Grande this afternoon on her success:

Kudos to Tamar for the kind gesture, and show of love to the young rising star. Tamar must be in a giving mood, as it has been revealed that in addition to her smash album, she is readying a Christmas release set for Oct 22, just two days after she hits the road with John Legend.
We can’t wait to hear this, as still to this day her big sis Toni’s ‘Snowflakes’ Christmas album is a CLASSIC which gets played year round on our pods! Definitely looking forward to Tamar’s spin on the Christmas classics! Until we get a taste of hers, here’s a little love to TB!
