In a move that we kinda saw coming, Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert are headed for divorce, and Tamar is the one who filed according to reports.
The singer has been revealing in recent interviews that she was putting her music career on the back burner in an attempt to save her marriage, and with a series of lawsuits including one from Sony over money that Vince owed the label, it looks like enough is enough for the singer.
Tamar Braxton is done with her marriage … she’s filed to divorce Vincent Herbert … TMZ has learned.
Tamar filed divorce docs Tuesday in L.A. County. She and Vincent have been married for nearly 9 years — they’re one month shy of their anniversary. Tamar and the record exec have one child together — their 4-year-old son, Logan Vincent.
It’s the end of a long relationship — Tamar and Vincent started dating in 2003. Her sister, Toni Braxton, had been working with him and introduced them.
The couple had a domestic dispute in August, 2016 in an Atlanta hotel. Police were calledafter he allegedly bit her hand during the argument.
Even in the recent teasers for the new season of ‘Tamar & Vince‘ we see that there is some tension going on between the couple, as the clips allude to some major issues going on within the marriage. The couple also reportedly is selling their mansion according to various reports that leaked last week.
Even in a recent DC interview, things were quite awkward with the couple.
