As if Tamar Braxton wasn’t busy enough being a mom, working on her new album, her daytime hosting duties, and a million other ventures now the ‘Let Me Know’ singer will be taking on the Red Carpet hosting duties at the 2014 Soul Train Awards taping this weekend in Las Vegas.
Tamar won’t be alone though, as she will get some help from fellow R&B crooner and DMV native Tank. According to the official press release for the show:
Tamar Braxton will host the SOUL TRAIN AWARDS 2014 Red Carpet Show on CENTRIC along with co-host Tank, who will serve as the style correspondent, and TV journalist Janell Snowden. The show will feature fun interviews with nominees, performers and attendees; explore the colorful red carpet fashion; include an impromptu performance or two; and test viewers’ knowledge of “dance” with nostalgic Soul Train trivia.
SOUL TRAIN AWARDS 2014 is hosted by Wendy Williams and will feature performances by: 3WB, Aloe Blacc, Alyson Cambridge, Blue Man Group, Chippendales Dancers, Chris Brown, Da Brat, Elle Verner, Eric Benet, Jodeci, Joe, Kem, Lil’ Jon, Lil’ Kim, Liv Warfield, Ma$E, MC Lyte, Missy Elliott, Nico & Vinz, Sevyn Streeter, Tamar Braxton, Tank and We Are Toonz.
Presenters at the awards show include: Bill Bellamy, Bobby Jones, Boris Kodjoe, Faith Evans, Keith Sweat, Lalia Ali, Ledisi, Leon, Michelle Williams, Mo’ne Davis, Nile Rodgers, Sheryl Underwood, Tank, Trey Songz, Tyrese and Wolf Blitzer. The show will also honor Kool & The Gang with the Legend Award.
