So we all know that the Waiting To Exhale sequel was in the works right before the untimely passing of one of its lead stars Whitney Houston. Then back in March I told you HERE that Whitney’s co-star Loretta Devine, revealed that the film was back in production after it stalled for almost four years after Whitney’s death.
Well now, according to films creator Terry McMillan who authored the novel of the same title, the film may be scrapped altogether and turned into a television series. Via Centric:
While promoting her new book, I Almost Forgot About You, on “The View,” McMillan revealed that a Hollywood insider has approached her about the possible project.
“People in Hollywood seem to be asking me about writing for television. Someone has expressed interest in turning Exhale into a series,” McMillan shared.
