In a surprise that sent the crowd (and the internet) into a frenzy, Michael McCary reunited on stage with Boyz II Men, marking the first time in years that fans witnessed the original four members together in a live setting.
The magical moment went down Friday night during The New Edition Way Tour stop in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena. The tour, which just kicked off this week, features Boyz II Men, Toni Braxton, and New Edition.
Michael McCary last reunited and performed with Boyz II Men back in August 2025, during their Las Vegas residency, marking the first time all four original members were on stage together in over 20 years. He previously appeared for a special performance during their Las Vegas residency on August 30, 2024, after a long hiatus due to health issues.
Michael famously stepped away from the group in the early 2000s due to health challenges, and while Boyz II Men continued their legacy as a trio, fans have always held space for a reunion like this. Seeing them embrace on stage felt less like a performance and more like a brotherhood moment — healing, celebratory, and deeply emotional.

Michael wasn’t the only surprise of the night, as Martin Lawrence was also in the building and posed it up with the guys.
