Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry-Housley, recently sat down at Universal Studios Hollywood for their first sit-down interview with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez since their co-host Tamar Braxton’s unexpected exit from The Real just a few weeks ago.
The ladies came to promote their upcoming appearance at Essence Festival in New Orleans, that Tamar was originally scheduled to be at as well. During the chat, they confirm that they were completely unaware that Tamar would not be returning and were just as shocked as everyone else upon hearing the news.
“First of all, we want to let all of our fans know that we love them and we were totally taken by surprise when we found out that Tamar wouldn’t be returning to ‘The Real.’ We love her.” says Loni Love. Tamera added, “We will miss her dearly.”
Speaking on their upcoming Essence appearance they revealed “We are going down to New Orleans, July 1. We are having a real live show on the ESSENCE main stage [in the Convention Center] — it’s free, anybody can come. We’re gonna have some live girl chat. We’re gonna be doing everything we can to give and show love to our fans.”
Although the ladies are set to return for their new season in September, there has been no confirmation of Tamar’s replacement. Get into their interview below.
