Toni Braxton and Birdman shocked the world with the news of their surprise marriage last year, and even more shocking news that the union was almost called off just weeks after the wedding.
As previously reported and confirmed via TMZ, the couple secretly tied the knot on August 8, 2024, but divorce documents were filed two weeks later by the ‘Unbreak My Heart’ singer. The date of separation was listed as August 10, just two days after tying the knot.
According to the documents, Toni and her attorney said the marriage was irretrievably broken. However, things took a turn for the best when the singer dismissed the divorce petition back in January 2025, and the Cash Money founder signed off on it.
Now, just weeks ahead of the season 2 premiere of ‘The Braxtons,‘ Toni has taken to social media to post a celebratory snap in honor of their 1 year anniversary.
